Thanks for this, it was news to me. I am a regular user of LinkedIn,but I rarely, if ever, scroll down on my own profile!

I agree with you, that LI's introduction of Groups has been a huge plus, and now introducing personal information only makes sense, because as you say, it was available off LI anyway, if you had the name to search for.

Will check it out now!

Don't you think this dilutes rather than reinforces their brand? If LinkedIn starts getting into all the personal silliness that is common on Facebook, won't it be less respectable as a business tool?
