I agree, Patty. The rigidity around dates also makes for confusing profiles for those of us who work on multiple projects at once. For example, I listed a small volunteer project because part of the work I am doing for the nonprofit group helping them to raise their social media profile. I did not want or need that gig to appear as my primary current job. Thank you for the ideas and suggestions
